"Growing
up in the Missouri Ozarks set the stage for my love of nature. Clear
spring fed streams and oak-hickory forests, which surrounded my boyhood
home, provided ample outdoor recreation. Swimming, fishing, hunting and
playing the guitar were activities that occupied most of my extra curricular
time.
During my college career I studied both art, and fish and wildlife conservation. After graduating from the University of
Missouri, I combined the two and began painting wildlife and
landscapes native to Missouri. I have since expanded my focus
to include natural settings from all across North America.
In 1993 my wife Diana and I opened our custom art and framing business,
with the idea of offering our clients a "wall ready" product. Today,
more than ten years later, we are still committed to providing our
clients quality fine art and framing services.
I still enjoy spending
time outdoors, but doing so with our son Gable,
and daughter Aubrianna, is what Diana and I truly cherish."
